How much does shipping cost?

By Promise offers two delivery options: Standard Shipping and Expedited Shipping.

  • Orders over $55 enjoy free Standard Shipping.

  • Orders under $55 pay $5.99 for Standard Shipping.

    If you need your custom piece sooner, we recommend choosing Expedited Shipping: $29.99

  • The exact shipping cost for certain remote areas will be confirmed at checkout.

How long will it take to receive my custom jewelry?

Each piece is made to order with care. After placing your order, please allow 1–5 business days for processing. Once shipped:

  • Standard Shipping takes approximately 5–10 business days.

  • Expedited Shipping takes about 4–7 business days.

Can I get a refund on shipping if I return my order?

Unfortunately, shipping costs are non-refundable, unless we shipped the wrong item or the product has a quality issue. Our 99-day returns policy begins the day you place your order. For full details, please refer to our [Returns Policy].

How can I change my shipping address?

If your order hasn't shipped yet, please email  support@bypromise.com with your order number and updated address.
If your order has already shipped, we’re sorry — we won’t be able to change the shipping address.

What should I do if my order tracking information is not updated?

This means that the tracking information hasn’t been updated in the online tracking system in time, though the actual order status may have already been updated. Please try again later to see if the information has been updated. If there is no movement within a week, please feel free to contact us at support@bypromise.com.

Returns & Exchanges

Can I return my order if I change my mind?

Yes! Our 99-Day Return Policy starts from the day you place your order. You may return your order at no extra cost if:

  • The customized product does not match your submitted order details

  • There are quality issues (e.g., blurry engraving, damaged stones, unclear craftsmanship)

  • You received the wrong item

Will I have to pay any fees to return my order?

Because our products are customized, return fees vary:

  • Within 48 hours of order: Free cancellation

  • After 48 hours (before shipping): 30% customization fee applies

  • For product defects or errors: All costs are covered by By Promise

How do I request a refund or return?

To request an order cancellation, modification, or refund, please contact us at support@bypromise.com. Our customer service team will review your request and confirm the order details.
Once confirmed, your refund will be processed within 3–5 business days and returned via your original payment method.
Note: Shipping fees are non-refundable for returns that are not due to quality issues.

What if the order is damaged?

Please contact our customer service and provide your order number as well as photos of the damaged product.We will assist you solve this problem.

How long will it take to receive my refund?

About Order

How can I modify or cancel my order after it has been placed?

Within 48 hours of placing your order, you may cancel or modify it free of charge. Simply contact us at  support@bypromise.com with your order number and the changes you wish to make (such as personalization details or shipping address).

 

After 48 hours, as your order enters our production process to ensure timely delivery, you can still request a change or cancellation before the product is shipped. However, a 30% customization fee (based on product price) will apply. Please note that customization and production will be rescheduled from the date of the revised order.

 

Once your order has entered the shipping process, we’re sorry—but we are no longer able to make changes or cancellations. However, if there is a quality issue or the wrong item is delivered, you may choose a full refund or a replacement at no additional cost.

How can I track my order?

Depending on the product, the production time usually takes 3–7 business days. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email with your tracking number.

Is the price of the product inclusive of tax?

The price of the product does not include tax, and you will need to bear the tax. According to different addresses, taxes and fees will be automatically calculated after clicking checkout.

Our jewelry is made from high-quality materials, but some natural oxidation or tarnishing can occur over time due to environmental factors like air, moisture, or chemicals.
With proper care, you can maintain their beauty. You can follow these jewelry care instructions:

Keep your jewelry in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and humidity. Regularly check and clean your pieces to maintain their appearance and longevity.

How should I clean and maintain my copper jewelry?

To clean copper jewelry, gently wipe it with a soft, damp cloth to remove dirt. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as they may damage the surface. After cleaning, ensure the jewelry is completely dry before storing it. To prevent oxidation, store copper jewelry in a dry, airtight container or a anti-tarnish bag when not in use.

What is the best way to care for stainless steel jewelry?

Stainless steel jewelry is durable and resistant to tarnish, but it still requires care. Clean it regularly with mild soap, warm water, and a soft cloth. Avoid exposing it to chlorine, bleach, or other harsh chemicals, as they can cause damage. Store your stainless steel pieces separately to prevent scratching from other jewelry.

How do I prevent my sterling silver jewelry from tarnishing?
